Nelya is a Tatar by heritage, living in a small village. Her 3 children are grown so Nelya now has time to help others in need. She enjoys expressing her creativity by sewing adras into little pieces of art. Adras fabric is made using a regional technique. Rather than dying a fabric after it is woven, threads are bound together with string, wax resisted, dyed, and THEN woven. The better the weaver, the tighter the pattern.
