A simple earring that's anything but simple!
Jessica Palacio was a medical technician before she and Carlos Guerrero, an iron worker, started their endeavor in 1996. The couple are self-taught in their craft. In their workshop called Luna, 'Oh what a moon', they create glass jewelry using a technique called vitrofusion. The glass pieces are cut, cleaned, and placed on a tray to be hand painted. They are then oven heated to 800°C, resulting in their characteristic look.
