For a long time, Carolina Riquelme had the idea of looking for a way to reuse discarded materials. She started studying the glass fusion technique, since it was a way to create recyclable, decorative, and functional products. When Carolina received a grant, she was finally able to buy her own oven. At the beginning, she used fused glass in mosaic work and bottle lamps, but then shifted her focus to small pieces like jewelry.
